Annual Putters Luncheon Packs the House to Welcome New Board

Carol Beeley and Paula Burns

Ranchette Putters kicked off the new year in high style, transforming a lively afternoon luncheon into a festive celebration honoring leadership, service, and standout performances on the green. The event marked the official welcome of the incoming board members while offering heartfelt thanks to the 2025 board for their dedication and hard work over the past year. Included in the festivities were our wonderful sponsors and representatives from the pro shop, whose ongoing support helps make each season a success.

With attendance at full capacity, the energy in the room was as lively as a sudden-death playoff. Guests mingled over lunch, listened to a touching poem from our own Marilyn Heasley, and looked ahead to a fresh year of friendly competition and community.

A highlight of the afternoon was the raffle, which featured an impressive array of prizes—most notably an incredible 10 (yes, 10) brand-new putters that had everyone eagerly watching their ticket numbers. Cheers and laughter erupted with each winning draw, underscoring the club’s spirit of fun and camaraderie.

The celebration also provided a special moment to recognize and thank the outgoing 2025 board, while officially introducing the new 2026 leadership team.
