Last month was another exciting month in the Glasshoppers studio. Members were offered various classes that were in high demand.
We had a mosaic rock class and a special Valentine plate class—just in time for the holiday. Many learned a new technique that we call “painting with frit” where glass paint is used to outline a pattern and powdered glass to fill in the finishing colors. Each piece is as unique as the individual artist and really gave everyone a chance to show off their skills!
