New and Fun Class: Junk Mail Collage on December 10

Donna Mains

Have you ever wondered what to do with all the junk mail you receive? Well, here is your opportunity to create two collages using pieces of junk mail and magazines provided by the instructor. This is an introductory class to collage, suited for beginners to learn the art and concept of collage. It is also a chance to use your creativity while disposing of all those mailers we keep receiving that fill up our mailboxes. Think how cathartic this class will be as you tear up pieces of junk mail to make pieces of art to take home on Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Teaching this collage class is SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) resident Donna Mains. Donna has been an active member of the SBR Art Club for two years. She has learned the art of collage through classes and self-study. She is drawn to collage art because it is a versatile and expressive form of visual art that combines different materials and elements into a single composition.
