What a fantastic weekend our artists had at the Pottery Studio in October. The semiannual ARTwalk took place and many of our talented potters offered their work for sale. Their pottery creations represented weeks and months of preparation and produced many unique and beautifully handcrafted pieces of art. The studio was buzzing all weekend with many visitors from the surrounding communities. Many enjoyed the opportunity to talk to the artists face-to-face to see what drives their creativity as well as the ability to purchase their one–of–a–kind works of art. The ARTwalk was a smashing success for those who chose to participate and reassured us that art is alive and thriving in our community.
Our studio is located at the Arts and Technology Center. Studio hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 5 to 8 p.m.
