CS & M Trio

Dale Farland

SaddleBrooke Ranch residents: Please attend this benefit concert! Oracle Schools Foundation (OSF) is pleased to announce that CS & M Trio will be performing at the SBR Sol Ballroom on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. as a benefit concert. Tickets are only $30. Proceeds of the concert will help the Oracle Schools Foundation support the free Kindergarten Preparation program for 3-year-old and 4-year-old students as well as other programs that help the children of Oracle at the Mountain Vista K-8 Elementary School. The school is a Title I school serving low-income families.

CS & M trio is a Tucson-based acoustic folk rock group, offering hits from the 60s, 70s, and more with humor, energy, and unparalleled three-part harmonies (the band likes to tell people that they are from “L.A.”—Lower Arizona).

The group offers music by America; The Eagles; The Beatles; Jimmy Buffett; Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; and a host of other popular musical acts that you will recognize and enjoy. In fact, you can sing along with them as you get into the spirit of this fun evening!

You may have seen CS & M Trio perform at Catalina Craft Pizza and Wildfire Wing Company to full houses. They also are the primary performers of the Tributaries that perform at the Gaslight Theater and other locations. CS & M Trio and the Tributaries have performed various tribute shows throughout Arizona and the United States.

This trio has been performing together for more than a decade, which shows in their tight harmonies, instrumental music style, and their witty banter. They are a “must see” group and OSF is lucky to have them for this concert.

This benefit concert promises to offer a terrific evening—great music in a fun atmosphere while helping the children of Oracle. Purchase your tickets online under Recreation & Events when you sign onto your SaddleBrooke Ranch account. A cash bar will be available.

Oracle Schools Foundation is the funding entity which provides free kindergarten preparation (preschool) for 3-year-old and 4-year-old students of the Oracle School District since Arizona does not pay for preschool. Currently, 59 students are enrolled and OSF pays $99,000 for just this program. OSF also funds programs such as Accelerated Reading and Math Enhancement programs, as well as supports educational trips and leadership opportunities for the students in Oracle.

Please come to this benefit concert on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 7 p.m. in the SBR Sol Ballroom. It is a win-win for you and for the children of Oracle.
