In mid-November, members of the SaddleBrooke Ranch Fuhgeddaboutit Club, aka NY/NJ/CT Club, gathered together and spent a wonderful and spirited afternoon playing bocce ball at HOA One.

Nearly 30 members gathered in the overcast afternoon and utilized their past bowling skills and techniques in the age-old game of bocce ball. Teams were formed, and games were lively and animated. Most had never played the game, but all enjoyed the fun and camaraderie.

The evening ended at Vitello’s Restaurant in Catalina where everyone enjoyed good food, great drinks and shared their stories of past winter weather back east and tall tales of how close they all came to the little target ball called a “pallina.”

The SaddleBrooke Ranch Fuhggedaboutit Club was founded in 2013. Its purpose is for SBR residents who are ex-residents of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut to enjoy events and activities together in a social setting while embracing the culture, diversity and people from this area.

If you’re a SaddleBrooke Ranch resident and either you and/or your partner have lived in any part of the three states, we invite you to join us. For more information, please contact Eric Boulter at: [email protected] or visit our website at: www.saddlebrookeranch.org/nynjct.
