The SaddleBrooke Ranch Bocce Club (SBRBC) Winter League playoff matches were played on March 4 through 6. Only the top eight teams out of a field of 32 teams qualified for the playoffs. The Pallino Huggers team, captain Arlene Tonges, edged out the Pallino Pals team, captain Bernie Kembitzky, for the championship after an exciting back–and–forth match. The Spring League started April 8. If you’re interested in playing bocce, an “Introduction to Bocce” session is open and free to any SBR resident on the first Tuesday of each month.
