Brian Baker and Eric Taylor Win the SBRMGA 2025 Member-Member Tournament

The SBRMGA enjoyed two days of wonderful golf, one featured ideal weather, the other was a windy beast, and 134 golfers giving it their all in pursuit of golf glory as the SaddleBrooke Ranch 2025 Member-Member champion.

When it was all said and done, one team stood high above the rest. Brian Baker and Eric Taylor finished 16 under par, three strokes better than Tom Graham and Dale Lythjohan. Congratulations to Brian and Eric, our 2025 SBRMGA Member-Member Champions!

Thanks to the following who made this such a success:

Tim SchaalSpecial Events Chair. Tim worked tirelessly communicating to the MGA, organizing the pairings (which was ever changing); putting out the team sheets; and so much more. Tim personally recognized Jack Dyck and Paul Berry, who sat in the Special Events chair the previous two years, for the knowledge they shared, and their encouragement all along the way. He also recognized the help that Mick Borm and Jack gave as a great sounding board to bounce ideas off them, reviewing various documents and correspondence, and encourage Tim every step of the way.

Special mention goes to the following:

Sam Rossi, for doing all the work related to our wonderful post-tournament luncheon. Feeding 134plus men after almost five hours of golf is no easy task, and Sam excelled in getting all the hungry golfers fed!

Rod Linville, who was on call both days to answer any rules questions. He received a few inquiries, and was able to quickly provide the proper interpretation of the rules.

Mike Jahaske, for his continued leadership of our course and his willingness to work with us every step of the way to make the Member-Member tournament a success.

Ken Steinke, the master of Golf Genius. Together with Tim they reviewed every scorecard and made sure every score was correct so that the results were accurate. Ken also was responsible for displaying the tournament results on a big screen at the end of play.

Alan Ness, photographer, for being available to take the many photos of the event.
