Camera Phone Photography January 29

Erin Newman

The SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Art Club is offering a new class with local photographer Nancy Schroeder, all using the camera on your phone! Nancy’s camera phone photography class will show you how to maximize function and formats for sharper and more creative images from your phones. Nancy will cover camera phone operations on both iPhone and Android that includes the zoom, focus and shooting functions. You will be shown how close the relationship is between camera phones and Single Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras with Live, Portrait, and filter functions. You will also learn how to edit your photos. Class will be both indoors and out, depending on weather.

Nancy Schroeder studied Fine Art Photography at the University of Arizona—BFA. After college she returned to her home state of Massachusetts to shoot for Martha’s Vineyard Times. After 4 years in New England, Nancy returned to Tucson to explore outdoor hiking, climbing, and photography. Nancy currently teaches photography workshops at Miraval Resort, and the SAAG Gallery at La Encantada.

This is a great class for beginners and those more advanced who want to get the most of their phone camera! Bring your phones, paper, and pen. Wear your name tags!
