The Pickleball Canada National Championship took place in August in Red Deer, Alberta, just a few days after Canada reopened their border. Elida and Chris Jerman were invited to attend the tournament. Though the Canadian pickleball tournament was only open to Canadian pickleball players, both Elida and Chris worked at the tournament. Elida worked at the pickleball tournament desk, which organized and appointed different referees to each match. Chris is a certified referee, and he was invited to work the event. Over 950 pickleball players participated in the tournament. Such an event requires a lot of workers and volunteers, and Elida and Chris enjoyed the impressive event.
