Celebration reception hosted by Citizens Awareness Forum

There really IS a new Sheriff in town!

Sheriff Mark Lamb came to SaddleBrooke Ranch on Saturday, February 25, along with others from Arizona State Legislative District 8 and Pinal County. Citizens Awareness Forum hosted a celebration reception to congratulate and hear from our newly elected officials and honor them in their efforts. This was a relaxed and comfortable event for all. Our residents filled the LaMesa/LaMontana rooms and our sunny hallway! It was an exciting time with much conversation as this was a great opportunity to personally get to talk to each of our elected officials.

Our invited guests from Arizona State Legislative District 8 were State Senator Frank Pratt, State Representative Thomas R. Shope, State Representative David L. Cook. From Pinal County were County Attorney Kent Volkmer, Sheriff Mark Lamb, County Treasurer Michael McCord, County Assessor Douglas Wolf, Pinal County School Superintendent Jill Broussard, Clerk of the Superior Court Amanda Stanford and County Recorder Virginia Ross. Also attending was Pinal County Republican Committee Chairman Michael Burke.

Tom Sorensen, resident of SaddleBrooke Ranch, former candidate for Pinal County Board of Supervisors and Co-Chair of the Citizens Awareness Forum moderated the event. Daniel Culver was introduced as the new CAF Chairman and is looking forward to another year of great events for our residents.

Pinal County’s 5,374 square miles make it almost the size of Connecticut and larger than Delaware or Rhode Island. We sincerely thank our guests for coming to SaddleBrooke Ranch, most of whom had a very long drive to be with us!

The Citizens Awareness Forum is a conservative group of residents who research, discuss issues of interest, invite guests to come to speak to us, attend taxing entity Board meetings that affect our property taxes and county taxes, volunteer and participate in the civic processes, become aware of policies of our National, State and County officials and present local issues that are of interest to the residents of SaddleBrooke Ranch.

Citizens Awareness Forum meets on the first Thursday of each month. The next Forum is Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the LaMesa/LaMontana Rooms in the LaHacienda Club at SaddleBrooke Ranch. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Contact Carol Sorensen at [email protected] for more information.
