It was standing room only in the tent at SaddleBrooke Ranch on April 2, 2015 as the residents and their friends came out to watch our first Clogging Expo. A newly formed beginning clogging group at the Ranch showed off how much they learned by dancing several numbers with enthusiasm for every step they took! Along with the beginners were intermediate and advanced cloggers plus two SaddleBrooke performing teams: The Coyote Cloggers and the Caliente Cloggers.
Clogging is like Appalachian Mountain dancing done mostly to country western music. There is always lots of hootin’ and hollerin’ and plenty of laughs. The shoes worn have double taps on them so there are great sounds coming from your dancing feet!
Beginning classes start in October. If you enjoy dance, meeting new people and lots of exercising, then clogging is for you! For more information please contact the clogging teacher, Carol Jones, by phone at 520-825-8568 or email [email protected] or Florence Messer, clogging coordinator at the Ranch, at 509-869-9796 or email [email protected].
