The Colorado Club held its first 2026 event on Jan. 16 at the Ranch House event patio. Approximately 65 Coloradans attended the event dressed in their best cowboy and cowgirl attire in celebration of the 16-day National Western Stock Show held each January in Denver. We had a picture-perfect afternoon to meet and greet prior acquaintances, make new friends, reminisce about our love for Colorado, and discuss how much we love living at the Ranch and enjoying the Arizona weather. To add to the party a western theme photo booth was provided, complete with a backdrop, hay bale, cowboy hats, ropes, and “most wanted” frames for entertaining and whimsical photos. The 50/50 drawing was a tremendous success with Diane Sandlin winning and graciously giving her 50% back to the club to support future events. Mike and Jan Close were the lucky winners of two tickets to the Country and Western dance on Feb. 6, donated by the SBR Dance Club. The Club Committee would like to thank everyone who attended and the Ranch House Grill for supporting our event.
