Missing something? After the long hot summer of travel, houseguests, spring-cleaning or whatever occupied your days, you are probably looking forward to getting back in the Word of God with your friends and soon-to-be new friends. We have just the opportunity you are looking for.
Women’s Ministry at the Community Church at SaddleBrooke is launching its fall Bible study series beginning this October with two dynamic offerings.
Always challenging her students, Beth Moore does not let us down in this video series titled “When Godly People Do Ungodly Things.” She is bold in her premise that Satan’s unrelenting attacks are rampant in our lives today. His campaign of seduction has left many bruised and defeated. In this study, Beth lays out God’s plan for warning, redemption and restoration. In addition to the video presentation, the study includes a workbook providing the student with daily perspectives and lessons. You will want to reserve your place at one of the two scheduled classes as they fill up quickly.

Whether you are new in your faith or have been in Bible study for many years, questions seem to abound in the minds of Christians. Are angels real? Is heaven real? How do I get to heaven? Susie Gannett, a gifted Bible teacher and an international women’s conference speaker, has fielded such questions so frequently she was inspired to launch a program she calls the “01 Series.”
In “Bible 201” Susie offers a short course to those interested in studying the amazing book we call the Bible. One of the distinctions of this study is that the Bible is the only textbook. There is no homework. You do not have to have taken Bible 101 to join the 201 study.
Christianity 201:
Wednesdays: October 22–November 19, 2014 from 9:30-11:00 a.m
Location: CCSB Parish House, 36768 S. Aaron Lane, Tucson
To register call Joanne at 520-818-3830
2015 Studies:
During the winter term commencing January 28, 2015 a five-week study of “Bible 101” will be offered. Susie invites women at any stage of their spiritual journey to join her for an informative look at what the Bible teaches. Questions and discussion are encouraged. Bibles are available to borrow or purchase.
Also next winter Susie Gannett will offer classes in the fascinating study of Genesis, The Book of Beginnings. To accommodate your schedule, classes will be held on Monday afternoon beginning January 19, 2015 and on Tuesday morning beginning January 20, 2015. This study will include the remarkable description of the creation of the universe. As you delve into this record of beginnings, you will learn how science is today coming alongside scripture in corroboration of Biblical record. Looking at the creation, we will learn more of the infinitely awesome Creator and His plan to bless the human race. A study book will be provided.
Registration for both Genesis, The Book of Beginnings, and Bible 101 will begin in November 2015.
Community Church at SaddleBrooke is a non-denominational group of believers meeting at the DesertView Theatre every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome.
