On May 23 the art room was bright and glowing with friends trying many different art mediums. The creative juices started bubbling with an entertaining and informative demo on “Junk Journaling” by Erin Newman. Erin did a first–ever “Junk Journaling” class on June 19. Keep on the lookout for additional journaling classes through the Art Club. It is a great way to express your thoughts, gripes, and memories all in the form of a book … get your creative “junk” on!
The next Creating With Friends will be on July 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a demo by Nancy Worby on simple Zentangle designs. Come and explore this art method. It is a meditative, gratifying, and relaxing method of expressing yourself and an easy–to–learn, fun way to create beautiful images … get your Zentangle on!
Supplies are provided, there’s no need to sign up, no cost, no membership … just find your form of artistic expression.
