The Democratic Club of SaddleBrooke Ranch hosted a visit by Dianne Post, Legal Director of Secular Arizona. Secular Arizona advocates on behalf of all who believe that public policy free of religious preference is the best way to ensure freedom of conscience for Arizonans of all faiths and of none. They promote understanding of secular values and the importance of evidence-based information in education, medicine, and public policy.
Dianne spent time talking to us about how Arizona has not ratified the Equal Rights Amendment, a proposed amendment to the United States Constitution designed to guarantee equal legal rights for all American citizens regardless of sex. She informed us on ways we can help and assist.
