The success of the first 2024 SBR Health & Wellness Fair was made possible by generous sponsorship. The Platinum Sponsor, Desert Life Pharmacy, not only provided financial support, Brianne Spaeth, pharmacist and owner, assisted the committee in connecting with various providers to exhibit at the fair. Brianne has also been our support to hold drive–through vaccination clinics at the Ranch for the COVID and flu vaccines.
Desert Life Pharmacy provides other services besides filling prescriptions and Medication Reviews with clients to aid with proper administration of medicines and understanding of what they are taking. Brianne recently achieved certification to provide diabetes education—10 hours for first–time patients diagnosed with diabetes, then two hours per year covered by Medicare. The pharmacy also supports outside medical providers once a week at the clinic, such as dermatologists and a Pima Heart cardiologist.
