The annual DINKO de Mayo Pickleball Tournament returned to SaddleBrooke Ranch Pickleball Club May 7–9, bringing three days of spirited competition, laughter, and community connection to the courts.
This year’s tournament featured several new additions that added to both the excitement and social atmosphere of the event. A Round Robin day gave players more opportunities to compete and meet fellow participants, while a Happy Hour after the first day offered time to relax and celebrate off the court.
Tournament organizers also introduced a TV monitor system that kept players and spectators updated with match schedules, standings, and scores throughout the event. The addition helped games run smoothly and allowed everyone to follow the action in real time.
The tournament drew 133 participants and included an impressive 282 games over the course of three days, making it one of the club’s busiest and most successful tournaments to date. Numerous raffles added to the fun, and participants also received commemorative 2026 DINKO de Mayo hats and pickleballs.
The event reflected the strong sense of community and enthusiasm that continues to make pickleball such a popular activity at SaddleBrooke Ranch. Players of all skill levels came together not only for competition, but also for friendship, sportsmanship, and fun.
Due to the tournament’s continued growth and popularity, organizers announced that next year’s event will move to April in hopes of allowing even more seasonal residents and snowbirds the opportunity to participate before leaving for the summer.
With strong participation, new ideas, and plenty of community spirit, DINKO de Mayo continues to be a favorite annual tradition at SaddleBrooke Ranch.
