Does Someone You Know Live with a Mental Illness?

Leslie Fore

The Mental Health Ministry at Santa Catalina Catholic Church will be having a presentation for family members and friends of people living with mental illness. The same program will be offered twice—Sunday, May 21, from 1 to 3 p.m., and Monday, June 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.—so you can choose the one that best fits your schedule. The programs will be in the parish center of the church at 14380 N. Oracle Rd.

A speaker from National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Southern Arizona will be discussing its Family-to-Family program, a program that shines a light into the unknown territory of mental illness. Come and learn how you can create a loving and caring relationship with your loved one who has either been diagnosed or is showing signs of mental illness.
