Don’t Miss Creative Giving at the SBR Fall ARTwalk

Scrubbies

Creative Giving is proud to participate again this fall in the SBR ARTwalk on Oct. 23 and 24. We will have our many items in the Creative Arts & Technology Center, Needle Arts Room.

Most of the items we make during the year are for the various charities in need but to raise money to purchase fabric, yarn and supplies, we create other handcrafted items for our community to sell during the ARTwalk. All sale proceeds go to purchasing the needed items as our volunteers donate their time and skills for the ARTwalk.

Our creations include a wide array of items that are sewn, knitted, and crocheted. We have baby bibs, burp cloths, blankets, balls, soft toys, bears of all sizes, and crocheted and knitted baby sweaters you can purchase for your grandbabies.

For our residents, we have various kitchen items like ice cream and microwave bowl cozies, hot pads, hand towels, table runners, wine bottle handled carriers, various gift items for the holidays (Halloween, Christmas, and Hanukkah), as well as sports team items.

For adults in recovery, we have heart and mastectomy pillows, other rehab pillows, shawls, walker bags, pocket neck scarves, adult shirt covers, ice pack covers, and more.

Who Are We?

Creative Giving of SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) is a group of resident volunteers providing items to many different charity groups in Tucson and the surrounding area close to SaddleBrooke Ranch. In 2025 we donated almost 3,000 items to charities.

Our member volunteers donate their time making items needed by our charity groups and for residents of SaddleBrooke Ranch with medical needs.

We meet regularly to bring our creative and various skills to the projects during workshops. The items we make are sewn, knitted, and crocheted, but if you don’t have these skills, we have various other needs. All you need is willingness to help. There are jobs stuffing toys, ironing fabric, cutting out fabric, putting snaps on bibs, etc.

We laugh, share stories, inspire each other, and develop strong friendships. We envision our work provides for others in need.

The group is not registered as a nonprofit.

If you would like to join our group, there is no membership fee. Come to our workshops to help cut patterns, stuff items, sew, crochet, or knit. You are always welcome.

Visit us in the Creative Arts & Technology Center, Needle Arts Room (sewing room) the first Wednesday of every month from 9 a.m. until noon and the third Tuesday of every month from 2:30 until 5:30 p.m.

And don’t miss visiting us during the ARTwalk on Oct. 23 and 24. We would love to see you!
