In the early morning and late afternoon Katie and Marc Lundgren exercise their two Siberian huskies. Katie and Marc are originally from San Clemente, Calif. Both huskies are rescue dogs. The bigger dog is their 5-year-old male, called Rocky, who joined them in November. The smaller husky is a female named Koda, age 11. The dogs set the pace for Marc while he rides his bike to keep up with them. Like most dogs, they stop to sniff along the way and greet anyone who has treats. When the hot weather hits, Marc sets off earlier in the day or later in the afternoon so the dogs get regular exercise. The dogs then retire on the cool tile to nap. They have adapted to our Arizona weather much like we do, except they never complain during our cool winter weather.
