Did you always want to learn to read music? Well, this is the class for you! Starting Saturday, Sept. 11, receive six group piano lessons from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in La Vista Room.
All you need is:
1. Your smile to try something new!
2. A keyboard at home to practice on.
3. Your book (bring to the first class only): Alfred’s Adult all-in-one Piano Course Level 1 (purchased from Amazon or from the instructor at first class)
You will learn just as fast as private lessons.
Instruction includes learning note names, correct fingering, rhythm drills, and music theory.
You will be amazed how fast you will read notes, and you’ll have a great time with others in the same situation.
Taught by Carla Marquardt who has a Bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and more than 35 years of experience teaching music.
