Linda Shannon-Hills and Neighbors Helping Neighbors
If you’re looking to meet new people at the Ranch, interested in helping others and finding a purpose, volunteering may be a good option. When you volunteer, you have the opportunity to make a true difference in the lives of others in our community. Learning about the benefits of volunteering can help you decide if it aligns with your interests.
The Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN) group has many facets to help others in our community. You may not know what all we do, you may want to get involved more or you may want to suggest ways our community can provide more to charitable groups.
Join us on Friday, Sept. 26, at 1:30 p.m. at La Hacienda Club, in La Mesa/Montana Rooms. The purpose of the meeting is to review the organization of Neighbors Helping Neighbors, recruit more volunteers for the various groups, and to recruit and develop a Board of Directors and group leaders for the various facets of NHN.
It has become important for SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Neighbors Helping Neighbors to become a 501(c)(3). If you would like to assist the group in filing for this designation, your assistance would be very helpful to the overall group.
