The invitation from Jan Storey and Jon Swanson read “‘Eat, Drink and be Thankful’—join us for a ‘Friendsgiving’ open house on the evening before Thanksgiving.”
Their kitchen island displayed artfully arranged charcuterie boards containing cheeses, meats, pate, grapes, dates, figs, nuts, olives, cornichons, and crackers. Assorted salads and steamy pans of homemade lasagna and rolls filled the dining room buffet. A tower of cupcakes, a plate of brownies, and a creamy millionaire pie satisfied everyone’s sweet tooth.
Moving to SaddleBrooke Ranch has given many of us a lot to be thankful for: the climate in Arizona, the amenities available in our community, the opportunities to pursue our passions or to learn new skills, and the chance to meet new people.
We are all grateful to Jan, Jon, and ‘Wrigley’ for opening up their home and providing an opportunity to celebrate the friendships we have made.
