While the holidays may seem far away, we all know they’ll be here again in the blink of an eye. So … how do we keep our stress levels in check? Ever hear the saying, “Prior planning prevents poor performance? You can have your home ready for holiday entertaining, and have unique personalized gifts to wrap for family and friends! How? Simply sign up right away for Glasshoppers’ safety class and you’ll be all ready for “Christmas In July” here at the Ranch!
“Christmas in July” is a joyous, fun time of year in the Glasshoppers studio. Members listen to holiday carols while we work, and submit answers to silly holiday riddles. Santa hats have been known to appear. The stage is set for the biggest sale of materials in the year. Sheets of glass are available at reduced prices, along with a wide variety of embellishments to enhance every project. Don’t miss this huge sale of laser cut shapes, glass ribbons, dots, puddles, and more!
Lydia Reichard brings a wealth of experience to our workshop, scheduling a number of classes that teach new techniques and result in beautiful fused glass serving dishes and art pieces to decorate tabletops and hang in windows. Ornaments, candle holders, festive decorations, night lights, as well as celebratory serving pieces are easy to make—even for beginners.
As the gifts emerge from our camaraderie and spirits soar. Most of us moved to SBR in hopes of joining a new and growing community where others like ourselves strive to make new friends. The Glasshoppers studio is one of the friendliest spots in SaddleBrooke Ranch. So instead of wrongly assuming you don’t have a creative bone in your body, why not come to Glasshoppers for inspiration?
Then you can ponder how much fun it would be to host an intimate gathering for a few neighbors and friends? Or maybe even a holiday open house or potluck? They’re sure to want to hang your brand new glass ornaments on the Christmas tree or Hanukkah bush this holiday season! Or, be ready with a lovely hostess gift in hand to accept the invitations coming your way for the holidays.
