Christmas will be here in just a few weeks, followed almost immediately by a new focus: 2025! Wondering how to handle the transition from one holiday to another in terms of home décor? Consider changing up your color scheme with new and interesting decorative glass pieces from serving trays to picture frames, vases to plant stakes, lanterns to napkin rings. Even the smallest items, such as unique night lights, bring variety and freshness to home décor.
Upcoming December glass classes will teach how to make both ornament platters to “spiff up” your holiday dinner table or potluck serving island, and festive plant stakes to brighten those pots gone dormant for winter. Check out these and other upcoming class projects now on display in the glass studio window in the Creative Arts building.
Consider shifting from your Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa to New Year décor in two special ways: color scheme and theme. Red & green (or cranberry & forest green) can shift to blues, whites, and silver for an uplifting mood change toward a shining New Year. Switching focus, as simply as featuring snowmen instead of Santas, can immediately transform your décor aesthetic and brighten your home for the later months of winter.
