The holiday season at SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Golf Course was filled with an extra dose of cheer this year, thanks to the generosity of the golfing community.

Following the true spirit of the holidays, the SBR Men’s Golf Association (MGA), the Women’s Golf Association (WGA), and The SBR Putters collectively donated to show their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the golf course maintenance crew. These contributions exceeded last year’s donations, recognizing the tireless efforts of the crew in keeping the course in pristine condition throughout 2024.

“We believe in recognizing and appreciating the individuals who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure we enjoy a top-quality golfing experience,” said Tony Salerno, president of the SBRMGA. “This gesture is a small token of our gratitude for their commitment to maintaining the beauty and playability of our beloved course.”

The presentation of the appreciation checks was a heartwarming moment, filled with smiles and gratitude. It served as a powerful reminder that the true spirit of the holidays lies in giving back to the community and recognizing the contributions of those who make our lives better.

As Winston Churchill famously said, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.” The SBR golfing community truly embodied this sentiment, demonstrating the profound impact of generosity and creating a lasting positive impact on the lives of those who work hard to maintain the beauty of their beloved golf course.
