June Travel Talk Tuesday Will Take You to Places to Go in Our Own Backyard

Arlene Wong

Are you aware of all the fun and interesting places to visit in northern Arizona? You probably know about the Grand Canyon, Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, and a few others. But do you know of Montezuma’s Castle, Wupatki National Monument, the Slot Canyons, and Horseshoe Bend in Page?

At our June meeting, Steve Felber, a Rancher for the past seven years, would like to show you all these places and more, showcasing 15 locations north of Phoenix. He might inspire you to visit some of them.

In 2002, Steve retired from corporate life and discovered landscape photography. He quickly learned that a photographer with an RV is a great combination. It allowed him to indulge his passion by visiting state and national parks and other beautiful spots around America. Northern Arizona is one of his favorite areas; he returns again and again to visit. We hope the presentation will enhance your awareness of places you already know about and pique your interest in places you have never heard of!

So mark your calendar and join Travel Talk Tuesday on June 24 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the La Mesa Room.

We also look forward to you joining us for other future travel presentations. If you would like to be a presenter and/or help us coordinate “Travel Talk Tuesday” (TTT), please contact Wonona Davis at sbrtraveltalktuesday@gmail.com.
