Standard walker bag

If you use a walker, the group Creative Giving makes items that may add convenience to your life. When you’re going from one place to another and your hands are occupied with the walker, a walker bag allows you to carry items with you. You may want to carry your cell phone and a book. Perhaps a handkerchief would be convenient. We have two styles of walker bags: one for a standard walker and one for a walker with a seat, for example the “Drive” walker. These items are free for SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) residents with medical needs. We have an extensive list of items we make for residents. There are things like chemo caps; an array of pillows for after surgery; scarves with pockets to use with crutches, wheelchairs, or walkers; seatbelt cushions to make a port more comfortable; plus other items. Most of our work is for charities outside of the Ranch. We support charities like Family First of Oracle, Kids Closet, Christ Child, Casa De Los Ninos, and various assisted living facilities. We’re also making teddy bears for the Golder Ranch Fire Department to give to traumatized children. If you’d like to join us in creating these objects, email CreativeGivingSBR@gmail.com.
