Making Connections When You’ve Lost Your Spouse

Carol Andrews

Feeling at a loss because you’ve lost your spouse or partner? There is a group at the Ranch called “Connections: The Next Chapter” made for someone like you.

Our purpose isn’t to offer grief counseling, but simply to spend time together with those who share this life experience. We meet occasionally for social gatherings—to offer comfort, share practical advice, and simply enjoy some companionship. It’s a supportive, welcoming environment, and people participate in whatever way makes them comfortable.

We have one event planned for December. We’ll have a potluck dinner at the home of one of our group on Thursday, Dec. 4. Our potlucks have been very popular in the past. They allow time to get to know each other in a very relaxed atmosphere. Food is fun, but there’s no pressure to bring something special. Contact me and I’ll give you the details.

If you’re interested in coming to one of our gatherings or just have some questions, email Carol Andrews at WontBeL8@gmail.com or call 520-488-6632.

My sympathies for your loss. I hope we may have the chance to connect.
