Handle with care
Membership is rising! We added four potters in March. Thanks to the Intro Class Committee for putting on all the classes every month. The May classes are already booked, and the first intro class in June is filled. The next available is June 23. Classes are limited in size, so there is one-on-one personal interface between the instructors and the participants. To enroll, drop by the studio during open studio hours and provide your contact info on the signup sheet. The cost is $40 for the two sessions (all materials included). During the first session, you actually build a pottery piece with the class facilitator. The second session covers various glazing techniques, allowing you to prepare your creation for firing. After that, you can join the club for a $25 annual membership, which is good through calendar year 2022. This is 50% off the normal annual membership.

Our fabulous studio monitors are available during open studio time to answer questions, assist with glaze techniques, and explain how to use the tools and equipment. With many potters (snowbirds) leaving for the summer months, you can enjoy extra workspace to spread out in the studio.
Our studio hours are posted on the website:
* Monday and Wednesday: 3 to 5 p.m.
* Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
