Last month, I attended the first service of Unity of Tucson in SaddleBrooke, and I felt compelled to share what I learned. The message of the day was centered on the profound idea that “God is all that is,” a teaching that encourages us to see beyond the ordinary and recognize the divine presence in everything around us, including ourselves.
One of the most striking insights is that because God is all-encompassing, humans are included in this divine essence. This means that each of us is an expression of God’s infinite love and creative power. We are not separate or less; rather, we are beings of creation with that same divine essence flowing through us. If we do not recognize this within ourselves our actions can reflect ego-based behavior.
Rev. Dr. Jonathan Zenz’s message was heartfelt and engaging. Through practices of affirmative prayer and positive thinking, we can harmonize with the divine energy inside of us, and transform our lives with love, healing and peace.
