Linda Harvey
Club members were treated to a master class in story telling by Bill Gilles once again. This time his story was educational and informative about how to use an app for creating videos to share with others.
Many of us have beautiful photos just waiting to be viewed by friends and family. Bill’s words were empowering to make each of us master of our photos and editor-in-chief. Through the years, Bill has used many different apps for making videos. Currently he is using Power Director 365 which has a free version as well as a subscription. He explained that most of the apps available provide similar features and options.
Bill actually demonstrated making a short video for the group. To make the process realistic, he included edits and changes so we got a look at how these can be done. One of the tips Bill provided was to take photos using the landscape view as these fit into videos better than the portrait view and can provide consistency.
The club thanks Bill Gilles for sharing his time and expertise on video making to help memorialize our trips to the parks.
