“Five Shorts with Shortcake” was a smashing success! The audiences reveled (really got into it), laughing nonstop at the popular and well-acted comedies. They marveled at the poignancy of the dramatic moments, putting their tissues to good use. Shaking it up this year by adding matinees proved to be a well-received option. What the world needs now is love, sweet love, but it’s not the only thing that there’s just too little of—we all need laughter! So the next Community Circle Players (CCP) dinner theatre production, held Feb. 28 through March 4, 2026, directed by Shawne Cryderman, will most likely be a comedy.
CCP warmly welcomes new actors and invites you and your friends to join the “family.” Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the MountainView Country Club (MVCC) Ballroom west. Those cast in the show will attend a complete read–through on Thursday, Dec. 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mark your calendars and help CCP bring another fabulous show to the SaddleBrooke community.
