Oracle Schools Foundation – December 2025

Brian Gregor, SaddleBrooke guitarist

Marvelous Night for a Moondance

Dorothy Wood

On a perfect autumn night, with clouds crowning the Catalinas, more than 50 attendees gathered to enjoy a cocktail party and concert by SaddleBrooke resident and guitarist Brian Gregor. Brian has been writing songs and performing for 35 years. His acoustic guitar repertoire ranges from coffee shop vibes to soft rock and folk. It was an amazing evening enjoying wine, beer, and a sumptuous array of hot and cold appetizers while listening to Brian’s masterful guitar techniques. Janet and Dennis Williams hosted the event on their lovely patio and funding was shared by donors Kevin and Julie Simon Johnson and Gary and Dorothy Wood. All ticket proceeds went to Oracle Schools Foundation (OSF), which provides support for Oracle pre-schools.

If you believe that education lights a spark at the pre-school level, please consider a donation by visiting oracleschoolsfoundation.com. Mark your calendar for the next OSF Gala to be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the MountainView Clubhouse.

CS & M Trio Returning to SBR for Oracle Schools Foundation Benefit Concert

Dale Farland

In 2024, CS & M Trio performed at SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) for a benefit concert for the Oracle Schools Foundation (OSF). Last year, the concert was sold out. We are delighted that SaddleBrooke Ranch residents turned out for this inaugural concert. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the evening with these incredible musicians. Aside from their fabulous guitar playing and three part harmony, they are funny and know how to interact with the audience.

Well, CS & M is returning on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the SBR Sol Ballroom for another benefit concert. This year, we have a sponsor so 100% of the proceeds of the concert support the programs that help the children at the Mt. Vista K-8 Elementary School. Our sponsor is Debra Miller of State Farm Insurance.

Tickets remain only $30. Purchase your tickets with your SBR Member Card online through saddlebrookeranchhoa.org, Recreation & Events. A cash bar will be available.

The Oracle Schools Foundation budgets $126,000 annually, of which $121,000 pays for free Kinder Prep (preschool) for 3- and 4-year old children of Oracle. This concert helps OSF raise money for these deserving children.

Mt. Vista school is designated a Title I school, which means that the majority of the families are low-income. Many children live in homes where parents work two jobs or they are being raised by grandparents or one parent is in prison. Arizona and Pinal County do not pay for preschool. Without the support of residents of SBR, SaddleBrooke, The Preserve, and Eagle Crest, there would not be an opportunity for these children to get a leg-up to have a successful academic life.

CS & M trio is Tucson-based acoustic rock, offering hits from the 60s, 70s, and more with humor, energy, and unparalleled three-part harmonies. The group offers music by America,The Eagles,The Beatles, Jimmy Buffett, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and a host of other popular musical acts that you will recognize and enjoy. In fact, you can sing along with them as you get into the spirit of this fun evening!

You may have seen CS & M Trio perform at Catalina Pizza and Wildfire Wing Company to full houses. They also are the primary performers of the Tributaries, which performs at the Gaslight Theater. CS & M Trio and the Tributaries have performed various tribute shows throughout Arizona and the United States.

This trio has been performing together for more than a decade, which shows in their tight harmonies, instrumental music style, and their witty banter. OSF is lucky to have them for this concert. This benefit concert promises to offer a terrific evening—great music in a fun atmosphere while helping the children of Oracle.

Please come to this benefit concert on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m. in the SBR Sol Ballroom. It is a Win/Win for you and for the children of Oracle.
