After a busy weekend with our Friends and Family tournament, we put on our skorts on April 28 and drove the short distance to SaddleBrooke for a fun outing with the MountainView Putters (MVP). The teams were each a combination of Ranchettes and MVPs, and we had a gorgeous day to play. Those of us who hadn’t played there before were shocked at how hard their course was; it was very sloped on all sides. Our scores were much higher than usual. They had a western theme, and there was an amazing array of cowboy hats, especially in pink. The decorations in the dining room were really clever as well.
The day was lots of fun, and we were treated to whiskey sours at cocktail hour, followed by a delicious potato bar for lunch. I think I can fairly say that a good time was had by all!
Here are the Ranchette Putters who were on the winning teams:
First Place: Marilyn Heasley and Norma Tanner
Second Place: Joann Pritchard and Corine Sturdivant
Third Place: Jan Close and Joyce Cox
