Recently the SaddleBrooke Paper Crafters Board held a new member coffee to better acquaint us to all the club has to offer. We were treated to delicious pastries and fruit while we learned more about the history and opportunities this group has for us.

Club founder Kris Holmes told of how the Paper Crafters started some 19 years ago in SaddleBrooke. From the humble beginnings of a handful of rubber stamping crafters, the SB Paper Crafters now has 65+ very creative ladies. We share ideas, have challenges, demonstrations and special classes to learn new and exciting card making techniques.

We also make greeting cards for different charities. Most recently our club president, Abbie Egolf, had us donating some of our creations to local retirement communities around Tucson. As Abbie explained, “Some of these elderly residents only receive mail addressed to Occupant so a hand-crafted greeting card is a welcome surprise!”

Interested in attending a meeting to see what it’s all about? Stop by SaddleBrooke HOA One, Craft Room 4 the second Wednesday of each month at 1:00 p.m. Or contact our vice president, Sharon Scanlan, at [email protected] or call  520-825-5367.
