The October lecture at SaddleBrooke Ranch was given by Evaline Jones Auerbach on “History of Oracle Arizona.” Being a new community and neighbors coming from all parts of the country, knowing more about our local history helps us connect more with our local area. With an audience of over 65 people, Ms. Auerbach gave us a snapshot of one period of time in Oracle History from a book written by Elizabeth Lambert Woods who was a long-time resident of Oracle at the turn of the century.
Evaline Auerbach is a founding member of the Oracle Historical Society since 1978. She is active with the Biosphere 2, Oracle Public Library, Oracle Community Center and other local groups.
