Once more, the spirit of the holiday season will be strengthened in the community of SaddleBrooke Ranch when friends and neighbors join together on Friday, Dec. 13, as we all become the “SBR Carol Singers” in the Sol Ballroom of the Ranch House. We will sing some of the most familiar Christmas and Hanukkah songs starting at 4 p.m. Yes, we will have 12 tables seating ten set up, so we can hear an even better “Twelve days….” than in 2018! Once upon a time this was a sort of dress rehearsal for the next day—now it is a huge union of voices and holiday spirit.
Two days later our eighth annual Carol Singing around the neighborhood will begin around 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 15, when our group will gather at the SaddleBrooke Ranch Firehouse to begin our singing tour. Singers of every ability are encouraged to join us in our tour (preferably in a golf cart!) After singing for the firemen and neighbors living nearby, off we go to Unit 46A, our first of up to a dozen stops on an ever-increasing tight schedule! We will enjoy a variety of liquid refreshments and goodies at each stop. The hosts for these stops invite the neighbors near their homes for holiday parties—these have become such an integral part of the evening that we always lose a few (but please, not too many) carol singers on our way round! At our last stop, as usual, the carol singers will come inside to sing for a short while.
