Ohhhs, ahhhs and applause were heard at the SBR Birthday Club luncheon on December 8, as 13 lucky ladies won fun door prizes. Fourteen ladies were also celebrating the gift of a free lunch due to their December birthdays or one that was missed earlier in the year. They each received a lovely birthday card created by Chris Nunamaker. This month we all enjoyed the lunch with an Asian theme of satay chicken kabobs and lemon drop soup.
What is the Birthday Club? It’s a great place to meet new people and greet friends. Newcomers are welcome. Our monthly ladies luncheon is held at 11:30 at the Hacienda Club on the first Monday of each month. To receive monthly luncheon information by email, contact Nini Falconer at [email protected]. All attendees need to make a luncheon reservation each month by the date on the email invitation.
