The SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Bocce Club Spring League playoff matches were played on May 26 through 29. The league has expanded to two divisions, the Mountain Division with 16 teams and the Desert Division with 28 teams. Only the top eight teams from each division qualified for the playoffs in their respective division. The Honor Rollers team, captain John Murphy, defeated the Holy Rollers team, captain Mike Burns, for the Mountain Division championship. The Mission lmbocceballs team, captain Bill Budo, defeated the Boccegahloop team, captain Larry Steinberg, for the Desert Division championship. The Summer League starts July 1, with team registration starting June 15. If you’re interested in playing bocce, an “Introduction to Bocce” session is open and free to any SBR resident on the first Tuesday of each month.
