This year’s festival theme is “Groove Into Steiness”—the Sixties! We will have two groups with two captains leading each one. The first group’s team name will be the Monkees, and the other group’s team name is the Canned Heat!
To kick off the festival, tennis pro Chris Madsen and his wife Cindy will challenge pro Rita Singleton and her husband Jenson to a tennis match at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The entire community is welcome to come and cheer for both teams. Chris and Cindy will represent Canned Heat while Rita and Jenson will represent the Monkees. The first 46 members who reserve and pay the fee, $5 for members and $10 for their guest, will enjoy pizza with the pros immediately following the match at the Ranch House Grill. There will be a cash bar. Please register early!

Oct. 26: Exhibition Mixed Doubles Match between the Pros at 4 p.m.; Pizza with the Pros at 5:30 p.m.
Oct. 27: Women’s Doubles Tennis and Pop Tennis Matches at 9 a.m.
Oct. 28: Mixed Doubles Tennis and Pop Tennis Matches at 8 a.m.; Mixed Doubles Tennis and Pop Tennis continue at 1 p.m.
Oct. 29: Men’s Doubles Tennis and Pop Tennis Matches at 9 a.m.; Groove Into Steiness Dinner and Dance at the Sol Ballroom, Ranch House Grill—5 p.m. Appetizers and Cash bar, 6 p.m. Dinner, 7 p.m. Dance
