SBR Women’s Club resumes on September 10

After our summer hiatus, it’s time to start a new year at the SaddleBrooke Ranch Women’s Club. Before we look forward, it is important to celebrate our wonderful and exciting achievements over the last year. These results would not happen without the hard work of our Board, committee volunteers and our members. The following is just a small sample of some key achievements and benchmarks:

* Approximate increase of 50 percent in membership

* Launched successful roll-out of new communication platform “MyGrove” (now known as GroupWorks)

* Election of new Board for 2018/2019 and successful confirmation of by-laws as well as a wonderful increase in committee volunteers

* Taking the pulse of the membership; five surveys completed that directly impacted our procedures and enhancements to our luncheon meetings

* Monthly information covering community events and items of interest in our area

* Successful programs such as: meditation; healthy skin; visit Tucson; allergies; voice control and our annual fashion show (featuring Chico’s)

* Charity awareness and donation drives: Fisher House (collected over $1200 and supplies); PACC (collected over $1800 and supplies); Gold Star – Wreaths Across America

* Launched successful SBRWC Cookbook which will share profits with SaddleBrooke Outreach benefiting children and education programs in our area.

Looking forward, the SaddleBrooke Ranch Women’s Club will start the program year with a “Fall Cosmetic Block Party” sponsored by Ulta of Oro Valley. Store manager and product specialist, Shana Nunez, and other Ulta representatives, will show off new products. They will inform us on new trends for the fall relating to skincare, hair care, cosmetics, lip care and other great products! There will also be some surprises.

The September 10 luncheon will be held at the SBR Hacienda Clubhouse. We look forward and hope to have our October luncheon at the new Ranch House.

In September, the club will also be collecting the annual dues for those members that have not already pre-paid them. Please note, if members have not registered for the 2018/2019 year, they will not receive the invitations as a member. The full-time resident rate is $20 and the seasonal resident rate is $15, members should bring a separate check for membership.

Looking forward to the year ahead with great programs and capacity for all members in the new Ranch House!
