SaddleBrooke Ranch Tennis Association (SBRTA) member Wayne McGiboney is going to the Southwest Sectional USTA tennis championship. He was invited to be on the winning Mixed Plate 40 & Over 7.0 Mixed Doubles team. There were seven other teams in the southern Arizona district USTA league competition. The Mixed Plate team finished with a perfect 7-0 record. Wayne had a record of 3-0 in his individual matches.
The Mixed Plate team will now compete against the other five district winning teams, Phoenix, Northern Arizona, Southern New Mexico, Northern New Mexico, and El Paso, for the right to go to the USTA National Championship. The USTA has 17 sections covering the United States. Good luck, Wayne!
