More than 40 of the gallery artists will be exhibiting their work in the Tent Show on April 6.

On Saturday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you have the opportunity to experience Absolutely Art Gallery’s Annual Spring Artists Tent Show. The show is held in the north parking lot in front of the gallery located at 16701 N. Oracle Rd., #171, in Catalina. Look for the white-topped tents and signage on Oracle Road. The Gallery has been the winner and favorite “Best Art Gallery in Tucson” in the Arizona Daily Star Readers’ Choice Awards for the past five years. Come out to the show and you will see why. More than 40 of the gallery artists will be exhibiting their work in the Tent Show. Much of what they are exhibiting is not in the gallery as Pam Gappa, the gallery owner, offers them the chance to show larger pieces of work at this event. You are sure to find an artistic treasure or two as you peruse the artist booths.
The gallery will be open during this show and you will find works from all the 120 artists represented in the gallery available for purchase. There will also be several authors featuring their books inside the gallery during the show. Freshly made kettle corn will be available to snack on while you enjoy the event. Some of the artistic mediums you will find include original jewelry, gourd art, photography, fused glass, metal art, stained glass, fabric art, original paintings, pottery, soy candles, woodwork, woven baskets, beaded pens, handmade soaps, purses, art from the desert, and much more!
The bulk of the gallery artists are local to the Tucson area, while some are as far away as Phoenix, Sierra Vista, Casa Grande, and more. The gallery is a strong supporter of local artists and artisans. When you find that perfect art piece that you want to send as a gift, the gallery will pack and ship it for you.
