While we may get to skip April showers here in Arizona, spring is an exciting time to look forward to as the weather continues to get pleasantly warmer. The sun shines a bit brighter and life seems full of new beginnings. It’s time to bring the pastel colors and images of spring to our homes—both inside and out.
Easter is this month’s holiday, and display plates for decorated eggs are always fun! Butterflies sweep over serving platters and bowls to enhance an egg-decorating party that’s just as much fun for adults as it is for kids. It’s a great time to invite neighbors over for a festive breakfast, lunch, or even Easter dinner. Everyone loves a reason to get together.
How did those bunnies come to scamper over your kitchen island? Come into Glasshoppers to add a new personalized piece of décor for the holidays! Or take this as an opportunity to let family or friends know how special they are to you by creating a one-of-a-kind gift that can be enjoyed for years to come.
If you’ve already made a lantern, it’s time to design new front panels for both spring (a bouquet of colorful flowers?) and Easter (a cute fuzzy lamb?). Plant stakes help bring color and whimsy to those large pots that are just now starting to “green up,” and maybe even produce their first blooms of the season. The ideas can be your own, or feel free to come into the studio and peruse notebooks full of ideas to choose from. Best of all, there are always helpful and encouraging Glasshoppers’ volunteers at hand to help you bring your ideas to life.
