Colorado Club Social Is January 16!
Crystal Collette
In tribute to the National Western Stock Show, we will be hosting a western-themed social on Jan. 16, from 3 to 5:30 p.m., on the Ranch House Event Patio. So put on your favorite western duds, saddle up, and mosey on over. Meet your Colorado compadres! There will be a cash bar and food for purchase, music, and a 50/50 raffle (bring $$$).

Grab Your Tickets for the Wisconsin Party
Barbara Barr Bengen
Tickets will be sold from Jan. 2 to Feb. 3, unless they run out! The last few years have been a sell-out, so don’t wait until Groundhog Day to snag your tickets! The party is earlier this year on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The annual Wisconsin Party will take place at the SaddleBrooke HOA One Clubhouse.
Tickets include the buffet dinner and entertainment for $40 per person. Be sure to snag your ticket quickly as space is limited. Just reach out to one of our Wisconsin Party ticket representatives:
* Cindy Witt, 608-334-1785
* Carolyn Bewalda, 414-254-4369
* Julie Klakarski, 920-562-7642
Just when you thought a party couldn’t get any better, this year’s party promises to be better than ever! The Wisconsin Friends Committee is working hard to make sure the Wisconsin Party will be the best ever. The Wisconsin Friends always welcome new friends to our committee. If you love to help with parties, we have a place for you. Reach us at saddlebrookewisconsinparty@gmail.com.
One of the highlights of the Wisconsin Party is the Cash Raffle. Remember to bring cash to the party! Ticket sellers will only be selling tickets for the cash raffle in the early part of the evening. This gives the ticket sellers more time to prepare the cash prizes! So snag your tickets as quickly as you can. When the time is up, it’s time to stop selling raffle tickets. There are many winners, and you want to be one of them!
Another highlight each year is the Wisconsin door prizes, with lots of Wisconsin memorabilia and surprises. I can’t wait to see the door prizes for this year!
Don’t miss the 2025 Wisconsin Party! It’s gonna be the best ever! You betcha!
Texas Club Keeps the Fun Rolling
Mary Kay Voss
The SaddleBrooke Ranch Texas Club is living proof that you can haul yourself to Arizona, but that Texas spirit sticks to you like mesquite sap. Our rowdy, good-hearted bunch is made up of folks who lived in the Lone Star State at some point in their lives, plus the brave tag-along spouses and proud wannabes who just can’t resist a little Texas fun. If you ever spent a summer in Houston, a weekend in Austin, or even just changed planes at DFW—you’re already halfway qualified.
We gather up on a regular basis to swap stories, share some grub, laugh ourselves silly, and enjoy the kind of friendly competition that would make a longhorn snort. Our latest get-together on Oct. 30, 2025, was an informal happy hour and dinner, complete with games that had us hootin’, hollerin’, cheerin’, and wondering how on earth a simple roll of the dice could be so darn entertaining. Let’s just say: Texans know how to turn an evening into a memory.
Now listen up, because the next shindig is comin’ in hot. On Jan. 13, we’ll be headin’ to El Corral for dinner. Feel absolutely free to wear your boots—fancy, dusty, pointy, square-toed, or the pair you swore you’d never throw out. Trust us … they’ll fit right in.
If you’re thinkin’, “Well shoot, I kinda want in on this,” then you sure ’nuff do. To join the club, just give Mary Kay a call at 425-327-8589, or send an email to SBRTexasClub@googlegroups.com. And make sure you get on our email list pronto—because missing our announcements is about as disappointing as biting into a jalapeño you thought was mild. You’ll also want the details for our big March celebration.
And speaking of March—every true Texan knows that the great state won its independence from Mexico in March of 1836. Well, we’ll be whoopin’ it up and tipping our hats to that fine bit of history on Friday, March 6. Go ahead and mark it on your calendar with a big ol’ star. A Lone one, preferably.
So y’all c’mon and join us. The welcome’s warm, the laughter’s loud, and if you’re lucky, you might even leave with a story you can’t print in the paper.
