The SaddleBrooke Ranch Pickleball Association (SBRPA) is contributing $500 to SaddleBrooke Community Outreach (SBCO). The SBRPA board voted unanimously at the June 8 meeting to earmark the line item donation to the Tri-Community Food Bank. SBRPA President Kim Ahlgrim-Heine said, “It is the club’s pleasure to financially support such a worthy cause in our community.”

SaddleBrooke Community Outreach runs an annual food drive in March on behalf of the food bank. Rosemary Douglas, food bank executive committee member, expressed her appreciation for the donation, saying, “This donation will positively impact the lives of hundreds of kids in the tri-community area—helping them to succeed.” SBCO was founded in 1996 to serve the needs of children living in the 11 mining and former mining communities extending north from Catalina (Mammoth, San Manuel, and Oracle).
