Texas Club members on the “Murals and More” tour

The Texas Club recently loaded up the Tucson Trolley and set out for an afternoon of murals, history and plenty of good company—and what a time we had!
Our “Murals and More” tour gave us a colorful look at Tucson, including some of the city’s remarkable murals and the stories behind them. Many of us had never been in some of those areas, so we learned a lot. Of course, when you put a group of Texans together on a trolley, the conversation and laughter are every bit as entertaining as the scenery!
Many thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make the afternoon such a success. We may have left the horses at home, but the Texas Club still knows how to ride!
Our next outing will be Nov. 14, when we mosey over to the Gaslight Music Hall in Oro Valley for the 2 p.m. matinee performance of The Odd Couple—Female Version. This fresh and funny twist on the classic comedy promises plenty of laughs as two very different women attempt to share an apartment—with predictably hilarious results.
By the time you read this article, the deadline for purchasing tickets through the Texas Club at our special group price will have passed. However, that doesn’t mean you have to miss the fun! You may still be able to purchase tickets directly from the Gaslight Music Hall and join us, although the club’s special pricing will no longer be available.
