The Gardeners Exchange of SaddleBrooke Ranch welcomes Amy Belk, plant specialist at Pima County Parks Native Plant Nursery, for a discussion on “How to Pick a Shrub for Your Garden.” This presentation will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. in La Hacienda Club, La Mesa Room.
Amy works at the Pima County Native Plant Nursery, growing and salvaging native plants for Tucson’s public projects. In her spare time she works in her own garden, writes for Tucson Happenings and Edible Baja, Arizona, and takes far too many photos of flowers and plants. Her May 17 presentation, How to Pick a Shrub for Your Garden, will focus on picking the right plant for the right spot. She will also talk about some of the most attractive and carefree shrubs for the SaddleBrooke Ranch area.
The Gardeners Exchange is dedicated to providing horticultural information for desert gardeners. Bring your questions, bring your answers, bring your garden challenges, bring your excess plants to share. All are welcome. Open seating. No registration is required.
